Vasiljev has traveled to a remote part of the Amazonas Department in Peru to photograph landscapes and specifically the unique Wax Palm Forest. This forest contains one of the tallest palm trees in the world, reaching over 100 feet high. It is believed that it bridges the land with the sky.
